CX AIR SERIES

The CX Air Series features compact screw compressors, which are excellent for a multitude of different applications. These units were designed by the brilliant engineers of Frascold utilizing state-of-the-art technology to provide excellent fluid dynamics and raise the bars of safety, reliability, and quiet operation.

The capacity control of all the compressors in the series is obtained through the hydraulic movement of the slide valve. This smart design feature helps guarantee outstanding efficiency under any load. The models in the series can operate both with an economizer and an external inverter, which provide even greater flexibility in integration, energy efficiency, and energy savings.

The sophisticated 3-stage oil separation system ensures minimum oil carryover which helps to maintain an optimal level of lubrication and a high degree of operating efficiency.

Low Oil Carryover

Our design team came up with a sophisticated 3-stage oil separation system that delivers increased protection and lubrication to all the compressor’s moving parts. This in turn minimizes the potential for any leaks and helps ensure next-level performance for years to come.

Exceptional Efficiency

With so many different possible configurations, efficiency for your unique setup is easy to achieve both for design requirements (COP/EER) and for seasonal requirements (ESEER/IPLV). The optimized fluid dynamics provide this result having been engineered utilizing Frascold’s world-class design and manufacturing technologies.

Option of Coupling with an Inverter

The external Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) provides a significant increase in efficiency under partial loads for all the CX Air semi-hermetic compact screw compressors.

Reduced Noise Levels

Compared to other compressors on the market today, the CX Air Series is quiet as a mouse. Coupled with low vibrations, these breakthroughs are the result of painstaking design within the rotors and the internal fluid dynamics of the compressors.
