To make our commitment a reality, we are launching our brand new TK HD series, with natural refrigerant CO2, which represents a new frontier of sustainability. Thanks to the company's significant investments in research and development, the solution stands out in terms of high performance, variable and persistent workloads, and long life cycles. Superior energy efficiency, reliability and optimal performance are a beneficial choice for a wide range of applications - from refrigeration to cooling to high-temperature heat pumps up to 100°C.
FRASCOLD INNOVATION IN EVERY COMPONENT
The choice of Frascold focuses on the innovation of each component, in the name of maximum sturdiness, allowing its compressors to work in harsh environmental conditions, that is, with constant workloads 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at high temperatures and with a high delta P, all in full respect of the environment. Research and development is a constantly evolving sector for the company, which has always focused on the use of advanced and quality raw materials to ensure a prolonged life cycle of its compressors in terms of resistance to corrosion, heat dissipation and optimized lubrication. The new compressors of the TK HD series have been equipped with anti-friction treatments and new surface finishes to reduce wear and prolong the life of the compressor, for superior and constant performance over time. The reliability, robustness and durability were also confirmed by field tests, which were successfully concluded after more than a year of continuous operation of the compressors. Added to this is the possibility of combining an inverter, which gives the compressors additional flexibility and makes them ideal for every need in the HVAC&R world.
ECO-SUSTAINABLE EFFICIENCY: FRASCOLD MAKES SILENCE A NEW STANDARD
The result of extensive studies, the TK HD series stands out not only for its high performance, but also for its remarkable silence. Thanks to the optimizations of the internal components and a meticulous mechanical balancing, we have achieved a significant reduction in the noise level, with a range of sound pressure at 1 meter distance between 64.5 and 76 dB(A).
An aspect that not only improves the user experience, but testifies to Frascold's focus on offering solutions with low sound and environmental impact. This range, equipped with two engine versions, includes 4 different sizes for a total of 34 models, with a range from 3 to 50 HP and volumetric displacements ranging from 1.9 to 37.9 m3/h at 50 Hz. In addition to the ability to withstand pressures up to 100 bar, it guarantees maximum flexibility and compatibility with existing systems, making retrofitting possible.

Compared to conventional synthetic refrigerants, CO2 offers numerous advantages: it is a refrigerant fluid with a low global warming potential, is easily available and non-flammable, and supports high operating limits.
